Located in the Crossett Industrial Park, Pinnacle Biofuels, Inc.
was organized by residents of agricultural-based Southeast
Arkansas who saw the immediate and impending need to reduce
production of greenhouse gases and dependency on foreign oil. The
shareholders determined that entry into the biofuels market,
specifically biodiesel, would improve the local economy at the
same time as contributing to energy independence and a cleaner
environment.
Pinnacle
Biofuels, Inc. will initially employ 15-18 people in Crossett,
Arkansas including operations, maintenance and administrative
positions. These employees will be
comprised of skilled technical workers that will be responsible
for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the production facility
that will operate 24 hours a day, 350 days per year. In
addition to creating new jobs, the plant will bring many other
benefits to both the local and national economies such as
providing a new source of clean, renewable energy and helping to
reduce America's dependance on foreign oil sources.
Pinnacle
Biofuels will begin production of B100 biodiesel in March of 2008.
